Sicky poo.

Saturday, August 23, 2008

Who gets the flu in August anyways? For the past 3 days, I've been unable to eat more than a single bite of anything. And even that one bite, isn't pretty. Christopher is boiling water for me right now, so that I can make a double cup of tea, pour it over ice, and sip it for the next hour while I daydream about eating a plate of roasted sweet potatoes smothered in organic ketchup. Speaking of sweet potatoes... guess who cut his finger on the veggie slicer last night and had to make a run to the ER? His name starts with a Chris and ends with topher. Turns out he didn't need stitches after all, they just super glued it shut, gave him a fancy bandage, and sent him home. This is why Christopher shouldn't be allowed around sharp objects. Any time I see him holding a razor blade or exacto, I have a panic attack and command that he puts it down. To my surprise, he usually listens. Nobody else in thier right mind would actually listen to me, haha. So in conclusion, this Saturday will be a day of starvation for me, and pain killers for him. Oh, and some serious crafting, since our shop is nearly naked in the recipe box department. Iced chai here I come.

Whats everyone else doing this weekend??

Oh my, I feel for you both! Sick while preggers is no fun, and slicing off appendages is definitely not fun either.
