Giveaway number one!

Friday, August 8, 2008

Recently I've picked up a new gal pal from the etsy etc forum. Sometimes I feel like that forum is my home away from home. Is that sad? Don't answer that. Anyways, we've been chattin' it up on yahoo messenger daily (she even knows my daughters Barney schedule), and when I had mentioned that I wanted to start doing giveaways on my blog, she was the first to volunteer. And OK, yes, I was kiiiiind of hoping she would, because I love her things, but also, I'm just generally excited to finally start something new on my hibernating blog, and have a friend, especially a fellow military wife, to be a part of it. So wake up blog, its time to give something away!

(Here come the rules) That right there is an 8oz Coconut Cream Pie Hand Poured Soy Wax Candle by Auntie Dis. Just one of her 60-something candles available over at her shop, Auntie Di's De-lites. So what you need to do, if you'd like to win and be the proud owner one of her yummy smelling soy candles, is head on over to her shop, browse through her selection of many candles, and tell us which one is your favorite (that's the scent you'll get if you win). Next Friday (that's one week from today) I'll pick the winner, probably with the assistance of the random number generator, and post the results on my blog. So please make sure you leave me a way to get back to you. I hear by launch my first blog giveaway...

OK first I must say I have never seen so many different scents to choose from and some of the names just peeked my curiosity and I just had to open and read them. I must say I got a chuckle out of this site for sure~! I love the smell of Mulberry so the "Mulberry Madness" would be for me. However I found a few with interesting names that would be great christmas gifts lol I also checked out the bamboo pendants and they are awesome! Thanks for having this giveaway so that I had a chance to find a great new gift site~!
