Happy Easter!

It being the Eve of Easter, we thought we'd share a couple of pictures of what we've been doing for the past couple of days.
Making magical Easter Bunny food of course...
Yesterday while Brother was taking a nap, Sister and I pulled up a seat at the dining room table, got out the coconut and sprinkles, and put together a sparkly feast for the furry hopster, in hopes that he might remember to stop at our house this Easter. As you can see from the look on Eleanore's face, it was amazing. Something that seems so silly to us adults, is just so out of this world for our little ones.
And then of course, we had eggs to color...
This was our first year actually coloring eggs. Last year we painted them, using acrylics and little things like bubble wrap and tin foil, but this year we bought the generic $1.88 box kit with the color coated cups that you add warm water to. I wanted something easy that Eleanore would be able to help with, without too much frustration for either of us. Sometimes projects get to be overwhelming, and the fewer the steps and supplies, the better. Brother is still too young to participate, I explained to her, so while he sat in the high chair watching grumpily, she got to soak up all of the dye her fingers could take, and all of Mama's attention.
The babies are both tucked into their beds, the house is calm and quiet (with the exception of Christopher watching Revenge Of The Fallen in the next room), now all thats left to do- is wait for the bunny...

Happy Easter! :)
Love the pictures! Looks like fun! She is just precious, no fear little brother will get to help next time! lol (but I will warn you, with 2 kiddos *at least MY 2 kiddos* there is bound to be an semi-frustrating incident during the egg dying)
You're such a fun mom! Hope you all enjoyed your Easter!
love that you went for the premade colour mix. sometimes it's just about the experience....they don't need fancy complicated processes.
love her face in that pic where you are making the bunny food.
The bunny food is such a cute idea! :) You're such a fun mommy!
