Did anybody else wake up with crazy hair this morning? My bangs are going one way, the rest of my hair is swaying the other way, and whats with this cowlick at the very back of my part? Nice. Usually my morning hair is a fortune teller as to how the rest of my day will go. Does anybody else find this to be true? Over the weekend I had to give up my best friend sugar, due to even more cruel dietary restrictions. Not only sugar, but honey, agave, and all of those other sweeteners that you were probably just about to suggest, bless your blogger hearts. I'm giving stevia a go, in my coffee actually, so I'll be sure to let y'all know how that turns out. Because I know you're all on the edge of seats just dying to know. Anyways, lets get on with the suck, shall we?

As for Monday suck day stories.. here goes... it's today! Today, I awoke to Etsy hatemail convos.. like many others, but they still inject a LOT of suck into a day.. we're also stuck in an epic ice storm that might kick out all power... i ran out of coffee beans today.. i found out that i did NOT get the promotion that i just applied for, but my arch nemesis did (fume and sulk).
Good enough? hahaha..

My Monday sucks because I was awoken at 3 am by a sick, coughing infant who was then up for the rest of the day. My 3 1/2 year old is also sick with a fever and both want no one but Mommy. Sadly, I have to work today, so they're home with Daddy who is now calling me at work every 10 minutes asking what to do lol! Not to mention the 2 feet of snow dumping on us right now...

I usually like Mondays, but this one does indeed suck. My mother in law has been in town for waaaaaaaay to long (staying with us), and she's still here for 2 more days. Yesterday I went outside and cried for awhile. This Monday does suck! She's always drunk and she's driving my 3 year old CRAZY who in response is acting out and getting into trouble. Mom in law of course thinks it's my fault that my normally perfectly behaved child is misbehaving. GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! Let this day end in peace.

BTW...I LOVED my ring sling and my 16 month old loved it too, till it ripped... (sob)...It was hand made without a pattern, so I guess I was just waiting for it.

If I could use a sling, I would choose maroon (Go Hokies!), but if I win, I would like to gift the sling to some military mom who will remain nameless, so I would hope they could choose their own color. My baby is a 200+ lb football lineman, so no sling for me! I would suggest more geometric prints for future slings, more gender neutral.
My Monday sucks because it's a snow day and my boy is "so bored". Ha ha, little does he know he is going out to shovel!

My Monday suck day is that its not 11:30am here and I have yet to go to bed. I just can't seem to get tired. So now I have a full day of housework, taking care of all my animals, and trying to come up with something for dinner before hubby comes home. Yay for Mondays!

Monday. My Monday's suck now because my husband goes to work early, which means I have to do all the 'kid duties' haha. Which is just really getting my daughter out of bed, chaning diapers, and feeding. Because my baby sleeps with me anyway. But my Mondays are really like any other day.. I really need a Suck day for this entry. I want th sling lol!
Well, about 17 years ago (WOW), supposing this was a Monday. I woke up late, had to run allll the way up my very long road to catch the bus. The bus sat there and waited, it probably took almost 5 minutes to run that far. Probably the kids were laughing at me.. So we go to school.. The morning went okay, till recess. I met a new frenemy on the play ground. She was kind enough to push me on the swing...tied up. Yep, she tied me to the swing with a jump rope! When it was time for the class to go inside, I was still tied to the swing! After about 10 minutes the teacher realized I wasn't in class and came out and got me. It was a little embarrassing. That girl and I somehow became great friends.
But it wasn't a good Monday.
this is a really great baby sling! i love the pale green solid color sling, and a pattern that would be a nice addition to the shop would be a paisley design.
my monday is sucky because i woke up to 6 inches of snow and realized soon after that we had 2 diapers left. i had to drive to target going 5 mph and a trip that would norally take 25 minutes total took over an hour and a half. my little toyota echo does not do well in the snow and was slipping and sliding all over the place.

My Monday sucks because my baby girl has been teething and so she has been up every night for the past two weeks four or five times a night ::blurry eyed look:: Because I am a college student I have been missing classes on account of this so I have been missing things that I need for my tests that are coming up. Thankfully things are starting to look a little better as a I got a test back and it had a way better grade then I thought it would.

I think I am going to choose black, because it is such a practical color for an item that I would be using a LOT since my 3 month old wants to be held 24/7.
Usually I don't mind Mondays either, but today I had to go back to work after being on maternity leave and this is definitely a suck-day that I have been dreading!
I think a solid brown with pink polka dots as well as a solid brown with blue polka dots would both be cool prints to add to the collection.

Hey! I've cleared the deck to make sure I can enter this contest. That's how much I love these ring slings. Forgive me in advance if this is disjointed, because I've had to put my 12 week old down about 4 times in the last hour. Hee, ha, a little giddy on this end from exhaustion.

My solid color choice would be basic black. It would be so well with my entire wardrobe. I would love to see vintage-inspired prints, particularly those with Boston Terriers. Those who know me are rolling their eyes. But seriously: I would wear my husband in a ring sling if it had vintage Boston Terriers on it.
My Monday sucks because today is Day One of having our house listed for sale. We both (my husband and I) slaved until really late last night to make sure it was polished and ready. I got up early to make the beds and repolish after the kids tore through the house. And our Super Awesome real estate agent hasn't even listed our mothergrabbing house yet. WTF? All this stress, all this baited breath and nothing. Wait, wait. Mess. Oooh boy. Maybe it will list at like 5 tonight, making tomorrow our proverbial Monday.
That will probably suck, too.

My Monday sucked because we had all the cold from the winter storm, but NONE of the snow...nary a flurry to be seen in Chattanooga. The sun was bright, no clouds, but it was TOO COLD to step foot outside. SO wrong.
I am a fan of basic khaki, but I would LOVE to see some polka dots! I am a classic girl that would be all over black and white, but some fun with blue and brown is always nice!
Kelly Green would be perfect, since we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet!
As for prints...I tend to go for polka dots that could work for boys/girls. Love the pirate one though, b/c that's a possible nursery theme!

Monday... and why it sucked? Snowed, when it wasn't supposed to have done so therefore there was no one else at work to help with the huge workload that was leftover from the previous week thanks to looming deadlines and people looking for any reason possible to take long lunches.

As for prints, I would love to see some really modern prints (circles and squares) and some really fancy prints like toile.

I like the kelly green color. I would like a teal or turquoise if they had it but I didn't see that color. :(
For other patterns, I like kind of retro patterns or colorful geometric type patterns. I have a strange fascination with owls lately, so if they had any with owls I would want that.
But most preferable I would suggest a solid color with an applique or something with patterned fabric at the end tail. Or maybe something cool silk screened on there. That would be cool. :)
Yesterday was a really bad Monday. Everyone in my house is sick. Me, my three month old, two year old, and husband. Taking care of three babies all while sick really sucks. My two year old cried pretty much all day and kept throwing temper tantrums and throwing herself on the floor and screaming. Her fits kept throwing my husband into temper tantrums of his own, and the infant would not let me put him down at all all day long.

My Monday story is from this week. I woke up late because my phone died and the alarm didn't go off. So I had to rush to get every one dressed and ready for school. Not to mention I had to sit down and feed the baby. DS was late to school. Middle ds was late to pre-school, and I was exhausted from the lack of sleep caused by a teething baby. I was busy ALL day long and never got to sit down except to feed the baby. Ugh...

Okie, my favorite solid color would have to be grey. Simple, elegant and it could go with anything I wore (because of course it should at least match my diaper bag!).
I just love these sling-ring carriers. I would love to see a nice orange and green print for spring, with a neutral solid color on the reverse side.
Hmmm, and my Monday suck is being sick all weekend (and everyone else sick too), but still having to be supermommy. Then waking up Monday morning to my husband leaving, meanwhile I can barely get my butt out of bed to get the baby! He can take off when he is sick (the sniffles) but when I need him, he has to work! Grrr.

Ok....here is why Mondays always suck for me. My internal body clock wants to stay up late and get up late so that is what I do on Friday and Saturday nights but when Sunday night comes I have a hard time sleeping because I slept in that morning. Here's my Monday Suckday for last week. (WARNING: possible rambling ahdead) So last thursday I heard scratching in my ceiling in my closet thinking that it was just my neighbors with a new animal. BOY WAS A WRONG. It was a dead animal. Way to go for my apt office they were right on top of it and didn't get to it until Monday. And by then the smell was BAD. And they didn't even make a hole and take the animal out. OH NO. How about we just spray some "enzymes" to make it rot faster. You're apartment will still smell like ROTTING ANIMAL. but that's cool. So yeah that was my monday, a day off spent in an apartment that smelled like dead animal.
