(never a) Wordless Wednesday: Blowing Bubbles

Wednesday, June 16, 2010

(Some mornings, are more vibrant than others. Some mornings we wake up with a little bit of extra oxygen in our lungs.)

(And what better to do, on a morning like that, than escort each other outside, pick up the bubble wand, and blow...)

(Its ok if you drip a little bit of soap on your legs, Miss Elie. Lord knows, you probably haven't taken a proper bath in 3 days. Go crazy, child- make a big ol' clean mess.)

(It looks like your Brother could use a little help, doesn't it?)

(...maybe you can show him how its done?)

(Good girl! It took you a minute to get going, but once you got the hang of it, you were a bubble blowing machine!)

(Boy you've come a long ways.)

(And while I'm super proud of you, for blowing some of the most beautiful bubbles a Mama has ever seen- its getting awfully warm out here. Its time to go pick up, put away, and go back inside.)

(Awww, there there, little man. No need to pout.)

(We'll practice again very soon.)

(I promise.)

Love the pictures!!! I think bubbles are always a big hit! I love the last one. Your little man looks so sad! :0)

I think whoever invented bubbles and a bubble wand is the biggest genius ever. Bigger than whoever invented cheesecake. Bubbles never EVER disappoint. At gymnastics every Monday, bubbles at the end of class is the best bribe for getting Merrick to cooperate until the end!

Totally love the pictures! And the last one of Charlie is one of the cutest to date. You and Mr. Tia make some beautiful babies... can't wait to meet the next one online :)

Awwww, I love watching children blow bubbles. I just posted a blog with a photo of a little girl in our family doing it! :) These are adorable, Tia!

Bubbles are wonderful things.

I just was doing that the other day, totally unplanned, and the younger bro, Caleb, was punching their lights out of the atmosphere.
Boys.

Looks at all those bubbles. So Cool.

I love bubble blowing so fun, Right now my little man is trying (though with no soap to blow bubbles. I let him play with an empty one, since he puts it WAY to close to his mouth (more like in it)

I love how as the pictures start you can see Eleanore blowing hard and profusely and then as they progress she looks like she softens up as she's learning the big ones come with patience.

I think there's just something heart warming about sitting outside and blowing bubbles with your kids.

Dying over these pictures. I mean, how can you go wrong with bubbles? And that one of Charlie feeling so sad should be on a Halmark card.

Tia-thank you for your comment on Monday. I really think you are just this steady rock of reason and sanity for me. It's like I look at what you acomplish in your daily life and I think, "she is such a bad-ass." You really are an ispiration to me as a mother and a wife and I LOVE that we know eachother in this big fat world!

How adorable! Blowing bubbles is always so fun, even now as a mommy myself. My daughter isn't quite old enough to do it herself yet, so mommy or daddy help and she has a blast trying to touch them. Definitely one of the most fun things to do on a summer day.

I love the pictures, especially the last one. Ian is the same way when bubble time is over.
