Compliments of Pamela's Products

Monday, October 12, 2009

The other day UPS brought me a big brown box packed full of Pamela's Products!! This was super super exciting for me, a) because I love getting mail, and b) because Pamela's is my favorite line of gluten free products (just finished dunking some biscotti in my morning coffee, yumm)!

Awhile back, not even a month ago, I had made a batch of homemade bagels using the bread mix (I make the bagels regularly, once a week if I can find the time), and the taste was a little off. A lot off, actually. So off, that I couldn't even stand the smell of them. I got in touch with their customer service department, and not only did they replace my funky batch of bread mix, but they sent me a box load of goodies to make up for it. Cookies, measuring spoons, coupons, a chip clip, a pizza cutter (weird right), and more bread mix.

Typically I buy Pamela's bread mix in bulk packages on Amazon.com, and since they sent me two bags to replace my one, I thought it would only be fair to give one away! Compliments of Pamela, of course.

The Rules:

-Leave a comment on this post, telling me about what you'd make with your bread mix. A loaf of bread, rolls, thanksgiving day stuffing? Whatever. I just want to make sure that I'm giving it away to somebody that is going to appreciate it, ya know? This mix rules.

-If you don't have a blogger user id, please make sure to leave your name and email.

Additional Entries:

-Follow my blog. If you already do (thank you!), leave another comment reminding me. If you don't yet, simply click the "follow" button on the left side bar, and then leave a comment letting me know you've done so.

-Follow me on Twitter and RT a message about this giveaway (I love new Twitter friends!). Copy and paste "Win a bag of gluten free bread mix from @TiaColleen http://tinyurl.com/ylkawrp #glutenfree"

-For 5 extra entries, blog about this giveaway on your blog (complete with links and pictures). Don't forget to come back and leave the link here :)

You do not need to be gluten free to win this bread mix. This contest is open to US residents only. This contest will end on Sunday October 25th. The winner will be notified by email. No purchase necessary. There will only be one winner. Thanks for entering!!!

Hey, great to find your blog! I would love to subscribe. Pamela's I love her baking mix and all other kinds of products including the chocolate cake mix, brownies, but I've never tried the Bread mix. For bread mix I've usually used Bob's red mill, but since you seem to be so enamored of this I'd love to try it! Now what to make? You mentioned bagels, I haven't found a bagel worth eating since going GF so I think I'd like to try that.

looks like my comment about what I would do with the mix got eaten... Since my dad is also a celiac I would send it to him to use... because he is on a limited income it is hard for him to get some of the real good mixes and foods he likes to use.

Hi there! I follow your blog!! :-)

Additionally, I think I'd try my hand at bagels! The kids love 'em, and I'd like to switch them over to as gluten-free as possible.

Thanks!!
