First kisses
Sunday, July 26, 2009
I'm trying to remember my first kiss. I think it was in the first grade, a boy named Ryan. A quick little peck on the lips that probably disgusted us both. My second first kiss, the one that I actually remember (since the memory of my first kiss is really more of an idea than a memory), was in the 3rd grade, with Roy Singer. He was my "boyfriend" for at least a week. The 3rd longest relationship I've ever had. The second longest was shared with a Ryan Adams (not the Ryan Adams you're thinking of), and then the absolute longest, and final, of course, has been with Christopher. He makes my heart flutter like no other.
But why are we talking about first kisses??
Charlie, my darling boy, experienced his first kiss today. It was love at first sight. With her eyes closed like a sleeping beauty, he couldn't resist. Her pale plastic skin, her stylish pink vest and onesie combo... he got caught up in the moment. I won't give him too hard of a time for missing the target, because face it, we've all been there. Baby doll is one lucky gal.
Care to put on your jammies, put your hair in a side ponytail, and tell us the story of your first kiss?

So I am actually IN my jammies with my hair in a side ponytail. And my first kiss was at 13 with a boy named Jonathan Matthews. It was awful and he was chewing a big gob of grape gum and he was trying to choke me with his tongue. Ick. And he turned out to be a jerk. Bummer.
Aww! I'd say she is a lucky gal!
My first kiss was on homecoming night, ninth grade with...guess who?
Kyle. Hehe.
im pretty sure my first kiss was with a boy i called "kisser boy" in kindergarten. he would chase me around trying to kiss me. i dont remember his name but i remember he had blonde hair.
my first real kiss was when i was 16. i remember we were watching crouching tiger hidden dragon. and im not gunna lie, i dont even know what the movie was about.
namanama yummy baby doll!
First kiss was from our cousin Kevin. we must have been 3. Then skip around to 14/15 years old to my first boy friend mike. it was messy, wet, and not all the wonderful.
Oh Charlie.. that is the stinkin' cutest thing!
Ugh, my first kiss... gross. And wow, was I a LATE bloomer. Sweet 16 and never been kissed definitely applied to me. I think I was nearly 17 and he kissed like you would imagine a snake kissing... so gross.
are you sure he's not trying to eat her face? maybe your son is a cannibal.
missfire- he gave you the tongue at 12? Eeeeew. And a grape tongue... even worse, haha.
Megan- awwww, thats so sweet, that it was Kyle. Very sweet. I guess I knew you were high school sweethearts, but it didn't really sink in til just now.
jessica- I think half the movies I saw between the ages of 19 and 21... I don't remember what they were about either, haha.
Ms. Jessie- So it wasn't all fireworks and such? hehe
ElegantSnobbery- Kissing a snake sounds awful. Especially since I'm terrified of snakes.
hybridhopes- Christopher said something along the same lines. "Looks like hes giving her CPR", haha. Dangit you two. I of course, took a much more romantic approach to it, lol.
6th grade. yellow tube on the playground. his name was michael jones.
AAAA! That picture is SO cute!!!
My first kiss was with Nic B. We were in 7th grade and we always went for walks in the evening. We met each other on the playground, chased each other around for awhile, then settled on the play structure and kissed. I remember walking home and feeling so elated that I was dizzy the rest of the night. :D
Crazy thing is, we are 33 now, and still in touch!
OMG, how cute! I'm convinced that Merrick is in love with Dora because every time she comes on, he goes up to the TV and lays a big wet one on the screen.
My first kiss...hmm...there was this really weird kid named Edward in kindergarten...he chased me down and planted one on me...kind of against my will. I was appalled. He moved away and came back when I was in the 7th grade and he came back even weirder. If he turned out to be a serial killer I wouldn't be shocked!
I think he's hungry. Child must be starving. You clearly don't feed him enough.
(I think this picture has "wedding slideshow" written ALL OVER IT.)
I so so love the new blog layout and pics. Be still, my beating heart...
saybra- I'll never look at a yellow playground tunnel the same.
Leakarts- thats crazy that you two are still in touch. Well I guess 7th grade wasn't THAT long ago. I guess by that age we're capable of keeping friendships past summer vacation, haha. Thats still nuts though.
Aly- but his name was Edward *sigh*
Amy- YES! I'm buying a full page in his senior yearbook and putting this in there, haha.
SHN- Thank you thank you thank you!
Your kiddo isn't kissing her, he's trying to EAT her!
Ah, but this Edward wasn't a sparkly, beautiful vampire...just a weird perv in the making!
Um, excuse me, but the name Charlie is effing fabulous. And he is just as precious as his name. Killer.
